Christmas: The Season of Never Changing Hope

Every year around November 28th or 29th, it kicks in; that feeling of love. It's subtle at first, but over the days and weeks that lead up to Christmas Day, it grows and grows as we allow the feelings to sweep through our hearts, until many if not most, are transformed. It is a yearly miracle that we all eagerly anticipate.

I am a firm believer that what you see, what you read, who you spend your time with, and what you are willing to expose yourself to, becomes your reality. As the collective of the world embraces the feelings of the Christmas season, no matter their belief system, that feeling of kindness and charity permeates every open heart.

Every year longer that I live, the more I realize how much Christmas doesn't change. What I mean is that the sweetness of it is always there. It sweeps over me and brings with it hope for something better, something more. Is there more? I would say unequivocally, YES!

Why settle for "less" when there is MORE? You and I must BE what we hope for this world. Be kind. Be compassionate. Be excited. Be friendly. You and I have it within our power to make the world a better place, if only in our own hearts. We ARE that never changing hope to the downtrodden, the sad, the empty, the lost. We CAN do more and be more.

May God bless you with more of that never ending hope for your own life so that you can reach out to the one, which will fill not only them, but you and the rest of humanity as that attitude is perpetuated forward.

In the famous words of Tiny Tim, "God bless us everyone."
